LEINWEBER _ Jacob (Jack) Mr. Jacob (Jack) Leinweber passed away peacefully
on Sunday, May 8, 2005 at the age of 80 years with his loving family at his
side. Jack was a Captain of the Calgary Fire Department (retired), veteran
of World War II Royal Canadian Navy, member of the Royal Canadian Legion
Branch No. 25 Vernon, member of the Spallumcheen Golf & Country Club. His
hobbies included golf, bowling, round dancing and square dancing. Jack is
survived by his loving wife Wynn of sixty years; daughter Karen (David)
Peterson of Barriere, BC; son Robert (Christine) of Calgary, Alberta;
daughter Beverly (John White) Leinweber of Clearwater, BC; five
grandchildren, Michael (Alexandra) of Edmonton, AB, Gregory (Monica) of
Barriere, BC, Christie and Lyndsay of Edmonton, AB, and Bill of Calgary, AB;
two great-grandsons, Alexander and Jacob of Barriere, BC; one brother Fred
of Calgary, AB. Cremation. A private family Service will be held at a later
date. Those friends wishing to make a memorial contribution in memory of
Jack may do so to the Southern Interior Cancer Clinic, 1633 Pandosy Street,
Kelowna, BC V1Y 1P6. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the
