Vivian Spradlin Spohn

SPOHN, VIVIAN SPRADLIN Widow of Henry L. Spohn. Born in Dallas, TX on
January 10, 1917. Preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Joseph Q. Spradlin,
a pioneer Dallas physician, & mother, Sophie Robertson Spradlin, & two
brothers, Bob Allen & Joseph Spradlin. Vivian graduated from Forest Ave.
High School & UCLA. She was one of Ebby Halliday's top producers for 38
years specializing in the Park Cities area. She was a Dallas Cowboys season
ticket holder & attended several Super Bowls. She loved to read, play
bridge, & collect antiques. She especially loved her cats! Vivian was a
co-founder of the "Business Women's Bible Study" at Scofield Memorial Church
where she was a member for many years. She became a member of Highland Park
United Methodist Church in later years. She is survived by her niece, Joan
Spradlin Robertson, cousins, Mickey Vaughn, Donna Vaughn, Carolyn Elkins,
her namesake, Vivian Lee Coates, Jeri Fontana, Eugene Robertson, & several
other family members. Vivian's family would like to express heartfelt
gratitude & appreciation to her wonderful caregivers: Alayna Abel, Beverly
Rochon, Felicia Burleson, Jekamiah Alford, Melinda King, Minnie Alford,
Nakia Alford, Susan Shelton, Tami Nelms, & Wilda Capehart. Visitation will
be Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home, 6-8 PM. Funeral
services will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at 2:00pm in Cox Chapel at
Highland Park United Methodist Church. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest
Mausoleum in Dallas/Highland Park,TX. Memorials may be made to the Dr.
Joseph Q. Spradlin Scholarship F und, c/o Regions Bank, Jim Liles, Trustee,
200 W. Race, Searcy, AR, 72143. ,
