Graveside services for Mury Ann Stanley, 68, of Crosbyton,TX will be 2 p.m.
Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at the Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Karan Young
officiating. Burial is under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of
Crosbyton TX.

Mury Ann passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at the Ralls Nursing Home.

She was born Dec. 11, 1936 in Crosby County TX to Conda and Mattie Lee
(Harden) Starrett. On May 15, 1972, she married Joe R. "Cotton" Stanley in
Crosbyton TX. He preceded her in death Feb. 5, 2001. She was a graduate of
Crosbyton High School and had a lifelong passion for riding horses and was a
former barrel racer. She loved anything Western. She was a member of the
Crosbyton First United Methodist Church. She had been a bookkeeper at the
Cotton Compress in both Crosbyton and Ralls for 25 years. She owned and
operated 82 Antiques for about 30 years.

Survivors include a special friend, Jack Reynolds of Spur; a daughter and
her husband, Paris and Regan Ware of Ralls; a sister, Tookie Maze of
Crosbyton; four grandchildren, Ciera Cotton, Savana Wheatley, Mesa Cayenne
and Canyon Cactus Ware, all of Ralls; an aunt, Lena Givens of Crosbyton; a
nephew and niece, Conda and Judy Maze of Houston; and numerous cousins.
