Richard Lee Garrison

RICHARD LEE GARRISON, of Pearland, Texas was born on September 17, 1935 in
Marshall, Arkansas and died on May 14, 2005 in Houston, Texas of
leiomyosarcoma cancer. Richard graduated from Waller High School, received a
B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas and a M.S.
degree in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana Tech. He retired in 1998 from
M. W. Kellogg Company after working around the world as a Professional
Registered Engineer. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and
Mildred Garrison of Waller, Texas. He is survived by his wife Billie
Oliphant Garrison; son Glenn Garrison and wife Jennifer and their sons
Michael Venable, Sean Venable, and Richard Garrison; son John Garrison and
fiancée Karon Klipple; brother Lewis Garrison and wife Virginia and their
children Margaret, Richard, Virginia, Anne and Carl; sister Marie Kasten and
husband Fred and their children Fred, Steven, Donald and Glen; sister
Catherine George and husband John and their son Charles; Uncle Albert
Garrison and his children George and Judy; and brother-in-law Buddy
Oliphant. After his family, his many interests included Church, tennis,
Scouting, golf, investing, bowling, traveling, and helping to build
award-winning Pinewood Derby cars. The family thanks Houston Hospice for the
care they provided. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
