AZLE,TX -- Ray Chaney, 76, died Sunday, July 20, 2003, at his home.
Memorial service: 1 p.m. Friday at White's Azle Chapel.
Ray Chaney was born Oct. 26, 1926, in Bandera. He retired from TXU in
August, 1987, after 35 years of service. Mr. Chaney was preceded in death by
his parents, Orb and Myrtle Elizabeth Highsmith Chaney.
Survivors: Wife of 16 years, Nancy Chaney; sons, Charley and Wade Chaney;
daughters, Melea Scott, Mikki Worthington, Deborah Claborn; stepchildren,
Nina Wyche, Donna Wiseman, Darryl Dingman; sister, Lois Hill; 15
grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
