Family-Placed Obituary

Richard E. Asa, Jr. MSGT USAF (Ret.) Richard E. Asa Jr., MSGT, USAF Ret., of
Burnet Tex., died July 7, 2005, at the age of 74. His life included 51 years
of marriage, 46 years of mentoring children and 20 years of military
service. He was a man that continuously placed the interests of his family
above his. He will be forever loved and missed. Survivors include his wife
Elsie of Burnet, son and daughter-in-law Rick and Jo Ann Asa of Hilliard,
Ohio; daughter and son-in-law Sharon Asa and Ralph Moore of Round Rock,
Tex.; sister Sally Wiedman of Kenosha, Wis.; grandsons Colin, Cameron,
Garrett, Aaron, Dustin, Jonathon, Austin. Funeral services will be held at
11:00 a.m., at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet TX. Interment will
follow at the Lakeland Hills Memorial Park near Burnet TX with full military
honors. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Lung Association or the
Cassie Volunteer Fire/EMS. The family would like to extend their
appreciation to the physicians and staff at Seton Medical Center of Austin
who assisted in his care.
