Zachary Evan Kemper, age 20, of Round Rock, Texas, died tragically in an
automobile accident on Tuesday, July 5, 2005. He was born on October 17,
1984, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Zach, a 2003 graduate of Stony Point High
School, was a member of the Varsity Baseball and Football team. He loved
sports and working with children. Zach surrounded himself with family and
friends and never met a stranger. Zach had a love for kids and worked at
Children's Courtyard in Round Rock for the past two years. He loved to help
them grow and have a hand in their life, because he felt that children are
our future. He attended Austin Community College and was currently employed
by Brown Distributing. Zach will be missed greatly by his family and many,
many friends. Zach is survived by his mother and step-father, Alan and
Starla Taylor of Round Rock; father and fiance, Barry Kemper and Lynda
Myrick of Hutto; sister, Chelsea Taylor, of Round Rock; step-brothers, Shane
and Travis Arthurs of Round Rock; sister, Amanda Sanchez of Moore, Oklahoma;
grandparents, Bill and Sarah Taylor of Bastrop, Nell Taylor of Round Rock
and Gerald and Betty Bowman of Wichita Falls, Texas; great-grandmother
Milada Waggoner of Round Rock; step-mother, Joetta Kemper of Cyril, Oklahoma
and step-grandmother, JoAnn Morris of Cyril, Oklahoma; along with numerous
aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his
grandfather, James Hopkins; his grandparents, Sidney and Vivian Kemper, and
great-grandfather, Travis Waggoner. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to
8:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral
Home in Pflugerville. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday,
July 8, 2005, at First Baptist Church of Round Rock, 306 Round Rock Avenue,
Round Rock, TX 78664. Burial will follow at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill
Cemetery in Pflugerville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
Zachary Kemper Memorial Fund at any Branch of A+ Federal Credit Union or any
charity of your choice.
