Margaret Hazel (Bach) Cook, age 92, of Austin, Texas passed away peacefully
on July 10, 2005. Margaret was born in Austin, Texas on August 11, 1912, to
Hazel Oxford Griffin and Alfred Alois Bach. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Horace Chilton Cook, her parents, sister Mildred Bach Huber, and
brother Alfred G. Bach. Margaret attended public school in Austin, was a
faithful member of the Methodist Church, and was active in the Order of the
Eastern Star, where she held numerous offices, including that of Worthy
Matron. She worked as a beautician and caregiver in Austin and Marble Falls,
Texas. She had a loving, generous heart for family and friends and will be
missed by all who knew her. Margaret is survived by her sister, Jessie Mae
Wise of Austin, her daughters, Jane Rosendahl of Phoenix, AZ and Dorothy
Dodd of Austin; nephews, Mikel Wise of Encino, Texas and Richard Wise of
Houston; nieces, Johanna Halverson, Charlotte Stevens, Janis Smith, Barbara
Ward, and Judy Blackburn of Austin, and many grandchildren, nieces and
nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 12,
2005 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00
p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin, Texas.
