Christine (Hieb) Kaul, rural Tyndall, and grew up on the family homestead
northwest of Tyndall. After leaving the homestead, she worked as a waitress,

lived in her home until 1998, when she moved to Mitchell to the Mogck
Assisted Living Center.
A heart attack caused her to require nursing home care, and she chose to
move back to Tripp in 2003. She was active in bowling.
She died Tuesday, June 28, at the Tripp Good Samaritan Center at the age of
90 years.
She is survived by her son, Tim (Sherry) Breitkreutz, Dell Rapids; three

great-grandchildren; her brother, Herman Kaul, Tyndall; and sisters, Esther
Weisser, Tripp, and Clara Vilhauer, Salem.
