Alice Lee Freman

GALVESTON,TX-Alice Lee Freman, 58, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at
her residence. She was born February 3, 1947, to the union of Moses and
Doshia Jordan in Beaumont, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. today, Monday, July 11, 2005, followed
by a wake from 7-8 p.m. at Wynn Funeral Home, 602-32nd Street, Galveston,
Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at
Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 2920 Avenue M 1/2, Galveston, Texas,
with Pastor A.W. Colbert, officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview
Cemetery, Galveston, Texas.

Alice was a faithful member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. She
attended Galveston Public Schools. She worked for Early Childhool Pre-School
and as a Home Health Provider.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Moses and Doshia Jordan; 2
brothers; 1 sister; 1 grandson; 1 nephew; and 4 uncles. She is survived by
her children, Christina Franks (Felix), Tammy Freeman and Samuel Lee
Freeman; 6 grandchildren; 4 sisters, Bertha Jordan, Ida Muriel Samuels, Jo
Ann Davis, and Eugenia Meyers (Rodney) all of Galveston; aunts, Lorine Gary
of Beaumont, Texas, Corine Copeland (Ben) of Hitchcock, Texas and Ella Ward
of Houston, Texas; devoted niece, Tawana Samuels; special devoted friends,
Opal Coleman, Janie Ochoa, Kattie Zachary, Cassie Howard, and Gloria Jones;
a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
