Stuart Warren Klein, born October 6, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York, passed
away Wednesday, July 20, 2005, in Dallas, Tex. He grew up in Flatonia, Tex.,
and was active in the Boy Scouts, becoming an Eagle Scout a year earlier
than expected to be among three of the first Eagles in his troop. He
remained active in the Boy Scouts throughout his adulthood, serving in a
variety of leadership roles in the Capitol Area Council. Stuart graduated
from TMI and UT and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Stuart
was also very active in the Rotary Club and served as a District Governor
and was named a Paul Harris Fellow. Stuart worked in the television
production business for almost 50 years. He started working at MGM and,
after being honorably discharged from the service, he then worked for a
variety of television and radio stations throughout Texas. Most prominently,
he was the owner of Mobile Color, Inc., a pioneer in the remote television
business, and The Dub House. Stuart lived in Dallas since the late 70's and
retired at the age of 66. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 26,
2005, in Chapel East of Hillcrest Mausoleum at 3:00 p.m. A reception will be
held after the service in the family lounge of Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral
Home. Donations can be made to The American Heart Association, 1615 North
