Joan T. Brown of San Antonio, TX age 73 passed away Saturday, June 25, 2005.
Most of her life she worked for non-profit organizations, most notably
Project Hope, and The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Mrs. Brown was
always active in her community and was the first female president of a
Republican Club in the state of New York.

Recently her activities included volunteering with the Police Department in
F.A.C.T., V.I.P. and C.P.A.A. Her love for the Lord was shown by being a
longtime choir director at various churches, most recently at Christ
Presbyterian and also an active member of Abiding Presence Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Anna Treckmann and her son
Richard Brown. Joan is survived by her son, Robert Brown and wife Jackie of
San Antonio; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Alexander Brown of Nashville, TN.
