Anderson - Dorothy R. (Grant) Schmitt, 94, Anderson, died July 16, 2003 at
St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended illness.

She was born February 27, 1909 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in
Anderson, Indiana. She lived in this area all of her life.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of South Meridian Church of God.

She is survived by her Two Children: Norma Lynn & husband David Hiatt of
Anderson. James ''Jim'' & wife Judith Schmitt of Pendleton. Brother: Norman
& wife Amelda Grant of Anderson. Five Grandchildren: Pamela & husband Mark
Kulow, Teri & husband Jason Michael, Julie & husband Paul Wood, Michael
Schmitt and Maureen Schmitt. Five Great Grandchildren: Eldon Schmitt, Macie
Schmitt, Sarah Kulow, Nicole Wood & Jeremy Wood. Four Step Great
Grandchildren: Andrea, Lesley, Richard & Michael Wood. Several Nieces,
Nephews and Cousins.

She was preceded by her Parents: Alberta & Bessie (Mock) Grant. Brothers:
William Grant and Hurble Grant. Three Sisters: Ethel Wilson, Leone Wrigley
and Evalyn Wheat.

Services will be Saturday, July 19, 2003 at 1:00 PM, at Robert D. Loose
Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel. 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson, with
Pastor Dennis Zirkle officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.

Visitation will be from 4-8:00 PM on Friday, July 18, 2003 at funeral home,
south chapel.

Contributions may be made to Pendleton Emergency Ambulance Fund.
