Edith Mullen

SANGER - Edith Mullen, 98, of Sanger,TX a homemaker, died Tuesday, Aug. 16,
2005, in Denton TX.

She was born April 12, 1907, in Sanger to Barney and Marie Lewis Gibson. On
Feb. 13, 1954, she married Elmer Mullen in Las Vegas, Nev. He preceded her
in death.

She was Methodist.

A funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005 at Coker Funeral
Home in Sanger. The Rev. Buddy Owens will officiate. A private graveside
service will follow at Sanger Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Lewis Milton Mantooth and Leonard Ray Mantooth,
both of Lubbock; one daughter, Jane Marie Rumpf Browning of Denton; two
sisters, Eucelene Brown of Arizona and Elgin Boydston of Washington, D.C.;
and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Lafon Mantooth, and two brothers.
