Michael Darren Schmidt

Michael Darren Schmidt, age 42 years, of Lake Charles, LA, died Tuesday,
July 5, 2005, of natural causes. Originally from Metairie, LA, he was the
beloved son of the late Wayne and Ann Webre Schmidt. A gifted musician and
artist, he is survived by siblings, Douglas Wayne Schmidt of Newport News,
VA, Deborah Schmidt Buteau of Lafayette, LA, Cynthia Schmidt of Springfield,
LA, Melanie Schmidt Sprovieri of Hanover, PA and Brenda Schmidt Walsh of
Nashville, TN. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July
8, 2005 in Pavilion 1 of Gerard Park in Lafayette, LA. In lieu of flowers
memorial contributions may be made to Nepenthe House, 1414 Martha Street,
Lake Charles, LA 70601. Arrangements have been entrusted to GOSSEN FUNERAL
HOME INC. of Rayne, LA (337)334-3141.
