Mrs. Annie Hinks: Warren: Mrs. Annie Hinks, 93, of 9875 Sunview Dr. died at
10:25 a. m. Friday in Trumbull Memorial Hospital following an extended
illness. She was born Sept. 6, 1888, in Kersley, Lancashire, England, a
daughter of the late James and Harriet Lindley Lightbown. Mrs. Hinks had
been a Warren resident since 1913, coming from England and was a member of
Christ Episcopal Church of Warren. She married Alfred Hinks Dec. 31, 1905.
He died Jan. 17, 1939. Surviving include one daughter Mrs. Hilda Liptak of
Howland Township, with whom she resided; seven grandchildren; 16 great
grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren. Serivces will be held at
10:30 am Monday from Christ Episcopal Church with the Rev. C. Joseph Sites
officiating. Calling hours will be held at the church from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Niles
Union Cemetery.
