The Wednesday, 26 Nov 1890 edition of the Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette, p 5,
read:

Yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock occurred the death of Mary, the
one-year-old child of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Wagner, of 238 Gay street. Death
was caused by brain fever. Mr. Wagner is an employee of the Bass foundry.
The funeral of the little one will occur Thursday
