Juanita Usé Champagne Claudet

Claudet, Juanita Usé Champagne Born Oct. 22, 1921, in Raceland, she died at
her home in Baton Rouge on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005. She loved painting,
traveling extensively and studying the history of ancient cultures. She is
survived by a daughter, Suzanna Champagne Berey, Baton Rouge; granddaughter,
Angel Edgar, New Orleans; sister, Ruby Usé Thomson, San Carlos, Calif.; four
brothers, Charles Usé, Dallas, Wade Usé, Houma, Ray Usé, Thibodaux, and
Clark Usé, Raceland; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in
death by her first husband, Reid Champagne; second husband, Ami Claudet;
parents, Frazine Bourgeois Usé and Charles Usé; and sister, Lola Van Scoter.
Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 11
a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by
the Rev. Michael J. Schatzle of St. George Catholic Church. Interment in
Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Baton Rouge, LA
