Regina Peter Weingartner

Weingartner, Regina Peter A homemaker and resident of Baton Rouge, LA,she
died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, at 3:15 p.m. at Sherwood Manor Nursing Home.
She was 98 and a native of Enid, Okla. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home
East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, Sept. 15, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.,
with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.
Friday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church
at 1 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Jack Nutter as celebrant. Interment in
Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

She is survived by her four daughters, Sheila Weingarten of Tarpon Springs,
Fla., Claire Coxe of Fayetteville, Ga., and Jeanne Simmons and Teresa
Yaseck, both of Baton Rouge; five sons, Bill Weingartner of Arnold, Md.,
Francis Weingartner of Fredericksburg, Texas, Jerry Weingartner of Houston,
Jim Weingartner of Knoxville, Tenn., and Regis Weingartner of Okinawa,
Japan; sister, Rita Semrad of Enid; 20 grandchildren, 15
great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild; and special friend and
caregiver, Rosemary Coye. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.N.
Weingartner; twin sons, Albert and Robert Weingartner; four brothers,
George, Vincent, Francis and Norbert Peter; daughter, Sister Cecilia Marie,
S.S.N.D.; and two sisters, Clara Hartz and Marcella Hines. She was a member
of Ladies Catholic Benevolent Association, Catholic Daughters of the
Americas, Third Order of Mary, Legion of Mary, St. Vincent de Paul Society
and Holy Name Society.
