Jim Harrell

Jim Harrell was employed by John Lulich Jr. and Lulich Steel Corp. for 52
years. He was a resident of New Orleans LA and a former resident of Slidell
for 35 years. He passed away at the age of 69 on Monday, Sept. 12, 2005, at
his son's home in Prairieville, LA,surrounded by his wife, Kathy Harrell,
and their three children, Jeanne Harrell Rodriguez, Adele Harrell Hayes, and
Jimmy and his wife Penny Harrell. He is survived by his grandchildren,
Bryce, Ally, Grant and Claburn, who lovingly knew him as Poppy. He also is
survived by two sons-in-law, Vinny Rodriguez and Gary Hayes; three brothers,
Donnie, David and Billy Harrell; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his brothers Jack and Bobby; and his mother and father,
Isabel and John. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home chapel, 825 Government
St., on Thursday, Sept. 15, from noon until religious service at 2 p.m.,
conducted by the Rev. Tony Rigoli of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. In lieu
of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church,
International Shrine of St. Jude, 411 N. Rampart St., New Orleans, LA 70112.
