Edward Fairleigh
Edward Curd Fairleigh, beloved brother, uncle, and friend died on Thursday,
May 12, 2005 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Ed was born on May 29, 1951 in
Hopkinsville, Kentucky and moved to Pascagoula, Mississippi when he was a
year old. For the next 20 years Ed called Pascagoula home.

Ed attended Beach Elementary School, Castle Heights Military Academy and
graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1969. He then attended Ouachita
University and University of Southern Mississippi. Ed first settled in
Washington, D.C. where he worked in computer systems in the House of
Representatives. Following his years in Washington, Ed lived in
Philadelphia, St. Croix, New Orleans, Bay St. Louis and Lafayette, LA. Ed?s
love of travel and his sense of adventure led him on many wonderful trips
throughout the world.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Mary Ann Fairleigh,
sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Al Byrnes, sister, Libba Fairleigh and
special friend Raymond Saparito. He is also survived by seven adoring nieces
and many more great-nieces and nephews.

The memorial service for Ed will be held on Monday, May 16, 2005 at 11:00 AM
at First Presbyterian Church, Pascagoula, Mississippi.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Ed's
name be made to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St., Suite 200,
Lafayette, LA 70503-3240.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Martin & Castille Funeral Home, Inc. of
Lafayette, LA, 337-234-2311.
