Barbara Kieke born April 4, 1929 went to be with our Lord on September 8,
2005 at the age of 76 from Austin, Texas. She was the office manager of her
family business, Kieke Electric, a Stephen Minister of St. Martin's Lutheran
Church, both of Austin, and a devout member of St. John the Evangelist
Catholic Church in San Antonio. Mrs. Kieke was preceded in death by her
beloved husband of 44 years, Bill Kieke and her cherished daughter, Karen
Sue. She is survived by her son, Bill Kieke and wife Jenna; her sister,
Janice Hartley; and her loving grandchildren, Kyle and Kristin Kieke.
Donations may be made to Chandler Hospice, c/o Morningside Ministries at the
Chandler Estate, 1502 Howard St. San Antonio, TX 78212. Visitation will be
held on Sunday, September 11, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral
Chapels South. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 12,
2005, 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home in San Antonio with Msgr. Larry
Stuebben, with interment at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville. For
