Joseph Dorsey

Joseph Dorsey died on Friday, September 23, 2005 at the age of 71 in
Houston, TX. Graduated from Clark Senior High School. A member of Greater
St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Paul
S. Morton Sr. A former building and grounds keeper for the state of
Louisiana when he was active. Son of the late William and Willie Mae Dorsey.
Beloved Husband of Willie Mae Glover Dorsey. Father of Rachel Dorsey Simon,
Rafaela Dorsey, and Monica Cargo. Step Father of Derrick Dooley Sr. of New
Orleans, LA. Also survived by 3 grandchildren, Brea Coleman, Khari Dooley,
and Derrick Dooley Jr., and a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, ,nephews,
and other relatives and friends. A native and resident of New Orleans, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of
Providence BC and Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Church are invited to
attend the Funeral Services at Providence Baptist Church, 11509 Jefferson
Hwy on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 12:00 pm, Rev. Sherman Hughes
officiating. Interment Restlawn Memorial Park, Avondale, LA. No wake. You
