Vallejo- Ethel L. Etzel, 86, died on Tuesday in a local hospital following a
long illness.

The Bristow, Okla., native had resided in Vallejo for 17 years. She was a
homemaker. Mrs. Etzel was a member of the Degree of Pocahontas and the
Reorganized Church of Latterday Saints, both of Reseda.

She is survived by three daughters, Raydean Van Alfen, Evalyn Ball, and
Louise Jordan, all of Vallejo; three sisters, Edith Huggins, Lucille Bomar
and Aileen Anderson, all of Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren, 21 great
grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.

Private burial services were held at Eternal Valley Memorial park in
Newhall.

Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home made arrangements.

Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
