MOTHER OF FIVE LITTLE ONES DEAD

Last Baby Was Born in Tent Near Taylorville

Taylorville, Illinois, Feb. 15 -- The death of Mrs. Andrew Waymire in this
city yesterday at the home of Mrs. J. W. Williford was a pitiful one. The
woman had been living with her husband and children in a tent four miles
west of the city on the line of the Pawnee railroad, her husband being a
sub-contractor on the construction work of the road. About three weeks ago
she gave birth to an infant, but she was able to be up and around when she
caught a severe cold and became despondent. Mr. Waymire brought his wife to
town Monday where she could have better care and was under the care of Dr.
J. H. Dickerson. Besides a husband she leaves five small children, the
eldest 9 years and the youngest three weeks of age.
