SULPHUR SPRINGS TX - Kimbel "Kim" Minshew, 40, of Sulphur Springs passed
away Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.

Services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, at West Oaks Funeral Home
Chapel with Ronald Barnett officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the
direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.

The family receives visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

He was born Feb. 23, 1965, in Roby, TX the son of Daniel Henry and Mary Ann
Victoria Reed Minshew. He graduated from West Lamar High School, loved to
read and had a passion for animals. He loved taking trips to Canton and
spending time with his friends. He was a Baptist.

He is survived by his brother, Vernon Minshew and wife, Tammy, of Brookston;
sister, Vicki Barnes and husband, Larry, of Sulphur Springs; nephews, Daniel
Minshew of Brookston and Eric Barnes and wife, Dana, of Sulphur Springs; and
niece, Heather Birdsong of Brookston.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hopkins County Animal
