Jill Weaver Wolfe
Jill Weaver Wolfe, a lifetime resident of Lubbock, TX was born on May 4,
1948, the first daughter of David and Bettye Weaver. She was in the first
graduating class of Coronado High School and later earned an Associates
Degree from South Plains College in Levelland TX.

She was a member of First Baptist Church where she attended the For Ladies
Only Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Junior League of Lubbock
and a volunteer with the American Cancer Society where she helped organize
the first Cattle Baron's Ball benefiting American Cancer Society. In
addition, she was active with the Lubbock Chapter of the Susan G. Komen
Breast Cancer Foundation. Jill was a cancer survivor for 32 years. During
her career she worked for General Electric Credit and Lubbock National Bank.
She was the owner of Jill Wolfe's Mail and More at 26th and Boston.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son and his
wife, Chris and Sarah Wolfe and their children, Graham, Asher, and Samuel of
Fort Worth; a sister, Lynda Lee Weaver of Dallas; two brothers and their
families, David, Keren and Grace Weaver; Mark, Teresa, Molly and Mindy
Weaver, all of Lubbock. In addition, she leaves behind many friends who
provided support, encouragement and joy throughout her life. Floyd and Josie
Salinas and their children were constant friends and helpers for many years.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Campus Crusade
for Christ supporting the ministry of Rich and Joyce Bademan, 24904 Logan
Ave., Lakeville, MN 55044; the South Plains Food Bank, 4612 Locust Ave,
Lubbock, TX 79404, or the American Cancer Society.

Jill passed away at her home Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005 at the age of 57.
