HELEN RUTH GRAY
Helen Ruth "Grandma" Gray was born on August 12, 1922, in Boston, MA. She
went home to the Lord on Thursday, January 5, 2006, while surrounded by her
family. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; three
brothers; and her husband, M-Sgt. Marcellus S. Gray. She was a housekeeper
for most of her life and retired in 1981. Helen lived in Fresno for 39
years. In 2005, she moved to Marina to live with her family. Helen was loved
by everyone she met. She will be truly missed by all, especially her family.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Hopkins; granddaughter, Wendy
Rutledge; and great-grandson, Galvin Lewis, all of Marina; one
sister-in-law; seven nephews; and two nieces. Visitation will be held at
Stephens & Bean Chapel on Wednesday, January 11, 2006, from 2:00 to 7:00
p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Thursday,
January 12, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. STEPHENS & BEAN CHAPEL202 No. Teilman,
