Mr. George Gibber, St., of Calhan and Yoder, passed away Wednesday morning
at a local hospital. Arrangements later. (Swan).

Goerge Gibber Dies, Services Saturday
Funeral services for George Gibber, who passed away Wednesday at a local
hospital, will be at 10:00 o'clock Saturday morning at the Swan Drawing
room. Rev. R.B. Wolf will officiate and interment will be in Calhan. Born
August 8, 1865 in Czechoslovakia, Mr. Gibber came to the United States in
1882. He homesteaded north of Calhan and lived there for 51 years. For the
last two years he has made his home with his son, George Gibber Jr., at
Yoder. Mr. Gibber is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Gibber, three sons and
four daughters. They are; Mrs. Nellie Omeragovick, Leadville, Colo.; Mrs.
Rose Jones, Granada, Ohio; Mrs. Anna Palko, Pueblo; and Mrs. Lucile
Dzuroychin, Colorado Springs; John Gibber, St. Louis, Mo.; Andrew Gibber
Calhan, and George Gibber, Yoder. There are 19 grandchildren and 10 great
grandchildren.
