"CROSWELL - Charlotte Ann Newbrough, age 65, died Friday, November 26, 1999,
in Elizabethtown, KY. She was born July 22, 1934, in Roseville, daughter of
the late Charles Dirk and Vera (Hyatt) Strausser. She and Robert E.
Newbrough were married Dec. 16, 1983, in Sandusky. Mrs. Newbrough owned and
operated her own adult foster care home. She was a member of the Melvin
Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Robert; two sons, Frank (Lisa)
Keller and Michael (Lisa) Keller, all of Croswell; one daughter, Lisa (John)
Orfield of Athens, GA; four stepchildren, Robbie (Chris) Newbrough, James
Newbrough and Wanda Jean Belleveau, all of Boston; and Paul (Meyong) of
Lexington.; five brothers, Robert McLanson of Mt. Pleasant, Marvin Strausser
of Gladwin, Don Strausser of Arizona, Dave Strausser of Kentucky, and
Richard Strausser of Yale; two sisters, Delores Pickard of North Street and
Gloria Studer of Warren; and 13 grandchildren. Funeral services were held in
the Pomeroy Funeral Home, Croswell, with Rev. William Norris officiating.
Burial was in Washington Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American
Diabetes Association. Arrangements by Pomeroy Funeral Home, Inc., Croswell."
