PIERCE A. "BONES' OSBORN, JR., age 67 years, of Gilbert Road, Pittsford,
passed away early Friday morning, May 5, 2006 at his residence surrounded by
his wife and family. He was born May 15, 1938 at Munson, Michigan, the son
of Pierce and Evelyn (Mepham) Osborn, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of the
area and married Brenda J. Pike on June 16, 1979 at Adrian, Michigan, but
shared their life together for the past 32 years. She survives. Pierce
enjoyed coin, clock and stamp collecting.

Surviving besides his wife Brenda are 4 sons, Dale Osborn of Defuniak
Springs, Florida, Samuel (Debra) Osborn of Bristol, Florida, Pete Haydo of
Jackson and Norman (Ellen) Osborn of Pittsford; l daughter, Tammy Preston of
Hudson; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his mother, Evelyn Osborn of
Prattville; 4 brothers, Clyde (Roberta) Osborn of Hillsdale, Norman Osborn
of Prattville, Charles (Beverly) Osborn of Prattville and Mike Osborn of
Hillsdale, and by 2 sisters, Norma Delaney of Waldron and Evelyn (Don) Reese
of Waldron. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was
preceded in death by his father, 3 sisters, Lillian Hale, Geraldine and
Susie Osborn and by a brother Jimmy Osborn.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday. May 8, 2006 in the
Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson with Dr. Samuel W. Wickard
officiating. Interment will be made in the Evergreen-Burt Cemetery near
Ransom. The visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Saturday and 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on
Sunday. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hillsdale County.
