Mrs. Nellie M. Harris Dies; Services Friday
Mrs. Nellie M. Harris, 841 E. Cache La Poudre St., died Wednesday at a local
hospital. She had long been ill. Mrs. Harris was the wife of Don A. Harris
of Colorado Sprngs and had been a resident of the city since 1914. She was
born in Missouri March 7, 1836. She and Mr. Harris were married in Colorado
Springs in 1916. Besides her husband, Mrs. Harris is survived by a daughter,
Miss Donalee Harris, Colorado Springs, and two sons, Donald E. Harris,
Colorado Springs and Lester I. Harris, Washington; a sister, Mrs. Ireland
and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday
at the Swan Drawing Room. The Rev. J.D. Curtis will officiate. Burial will
be at Evergreen Cemetery.
