Mrs. Ella Ethel Green
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Swan Funeral Home for Mrs. Ella Ethel
Green, formerly of Penrose. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Green
died Friday in Denver. She was born July 20, 1891, near Tindall, S.D. Her
family moved to Denver in 1894 and to Ramah in 1905. She married Louis David
Green on Oct. 18, 1910 and they ranched and farmed in Elbert and Table Rock
for 29 years. In 1944 they moved to Penrose. Mr. Green preceded her in
death. She attended the Apple Valley Baptist Church and was active in the
Jolly Time Club. Survivors include many nieces and nephews, great nieces and
great nephews.
