Harold L. Branch
Harold L. Branch, 2902 Airport Road, died Wednesday in a local hospital. He
was 80. Burial will be in ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver. Memorial
services will be in Pelham, N.Y. Born April 30, 1895 in Kisgswood, Ohio, he
lived in Pelham several years before coming to Colorado Springs in 1973. He
was a retired insurance agent. He had been a tenor soloist at several
churches in Cleveland and upon moving to New York in 1928 began singing in
quartets and for many years sang on NBC Radio. He was a veteran of the Army
and served during World War I. Survivors include his widow, Ruth, whom he
married June 24, 1922 in Ashtabula, Ohio; a son, Harold Branch, Colorado
Springs; six grandchildrena nd a nephew. Arrangements are in the care of
Swan Funeral Home.
