Rose Claudette McClellan, age 63, died June 12, 2006 at her home in Macomb
Township. Mrs. McClellan was born November 21, 1942 in Providence Rhode
Island. She worked for Michigan Bell in the Royal Oak central office in 1970
as a Frame Girl, where she met Marshal. They later married on October 8,
1971. That was often a running joke because both of them always thought it
was the 10th. Mrs. McClellan worked for Michigan Bell for many faithful
years, serving in their offices in Troy, Pontiac, Southfield, and Oak Park.
After Mrs. McClellan retired from Bell in 1996, she worked at Saks and
Rader, Fishman, Grauer. She was an accomplished golfer, an extraordinary
cook, a very talented dancer and an avid collector of people. Her daughter,
Lisa Reid describing her mother said, "she truly was (and is) my very best
friend. I can only hope that the rest of my life is spent emulating this
very beautiful woman but I know no matter how hard I try, I won't even come
close." Mrs. McClellan always liked the phrase, "Yesterday is history,
tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift. That is why they call it the
present."

Mrs. McClellan is survived by her beloved husband, Marshal; loving children,
Lisa (Robert) Reid and Paul (Barbara) McClellan; grandchildren, Kevin,
Samantha, Claire, and Robbie. McClellan is also survived by her siblings,
Mary Rose Motta, Rene (Norma) Caron, Antoinette Noella (Donald) Musser,
Marie Fern Fite, Roger (Pat) Caron, Lorraine (Robert) DePasquale, Raymond
(Liz) Caron.
