NEW CASTLE -- Kenneth G. Moystner, 86, passed away on Monday, Oct. 30, 2006,
at the St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Formerly of the New Castle community, Kenny has lived in Indianapolis for
the past year.
A son of the late Guy E. and Hazel Lamb Moystner, he was born in Anderson,
Ind., on March 27, 1920. Kenny graduated from New Castle High School with
the class of 1938.
He served his country during World War II from 1942-1945 with the United
States Army, 8thAir Force, 95th Bomb Group. He was chief mechanic for the
B-17 Bomber.
He retired from Coca-Cola as a route salesman in the Cambridge City and
surrounding area after 27 years of service. He was a real estate broker and
home developer for over 40 years and co-owner of Kenneth Realty in New
Castle.
He was a member of the Henry County Builders Association, past treasurer of
Henry County Realtor's Association and the American Legion. He was a member
of the First Church of Spiritual Science.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, the former Margaret Conner. They
were married in Cambridge City, Ind., on Dec. 31, 1965. Three children,
Penny Durm of Indianapolis, Pam (David) Worl of Cambridge City and Chris
(Jane) Seigel of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren;
one great-great- grandson.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Wilbur, Robert,
Harold and Howard Moystner; one grandson, Todd Michael Worl.
Private funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, with Rev.
Jay Geshay officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery at
Cambridge City. There will be no public calling.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made
to the American Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Lewisville has been entrusted with
the arrangements.
