Rose L. Campbell

1918-2007

Rose L. Campbell, 89, of Cheyenne died Aug. 17 at Davis Hospice Center in
Cheyenne.

She was born July 22, 1918, in Glouchester, England.

She married Edward Campbell in England in 1943 and moved to the United
States when the war ended in 1945.

Rose was a homemaker and a nanny to many children in the Cheyenne area. She
gave a great deal of her time to others when she knew they had no other
person to visit or care for them. In her earlier years she was employed as a
housekeeper at the hospital.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ for numerous years and
during that period acquired many lifelong friends.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Roger and
Beverly Campbell of Cheyenne and Bernard Campbell of Evanston; two
step-grandchildren, Robin Yeradi of Wright and Casey Carey of Denver; five
step-great-grandchildren, who loved her dearly.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; parents, James and Lilly
Lane; and all 10 of her siblings.

Services will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the
Chimes with Mr. Ray Ward officiating.

Interment to follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.

Rose would have asked that donations be made to Cheyenne United Church of
Christ
