Andrew McCrae died 6/11/1871, at Pathead Farm, Mauchline, Ayrshire at the
age of 83 yrs.
According to the newspaper report he died suddenly, Ayr Advertiser 6/11/1871
and 18/12/1879.
John his son was present.

Andrew was the son of John McCrae and Jean MGowan of Cumnock, Ayrshire.

John Married Agnes Wilson in 1810 at Sorn, Ayrshire and they had thirteen
children.
