Beverly Ruth Bradshaw Wood

Beverly Ruth Bradshaw Wood, 75, of Amarillo died Wednesday, May 28, 2008.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel
in Guymon, Okla., with the Rev. Michael Burkett officiating. Burial will be
in Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.

Beverly came into this world Feb. 20, 1933, and she left it for God's
promise on May 28, 2008.

She was born in Guymon to Ruth and Glen Bradshaw. She married her best
friend, Paul A. Wood, on Jan. 20, 1960. Beverly will be remembered for her
infectious laughter, her brilliant smile, her love of all things furry and
funny, her amazing strength as she lived with multiple sclerosis for the
last 38 years and how she always overcame any roadblock in her path.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glen; and her stepfather, Robert E.
Lee.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Paul A. Wood of Amarillo; her
children, Cary and Amy Wood of Erie, Colo., and Kristi and Brian Conroy of
Denver; her mother, Ruth Lee of Marble Falls; four grandchildren, Austin and
Tyler Wood and Ethan and Emma Conroy; and a brother, Ron Bradshaw and wife
Carolyn of Burnet.

The family suggests memorials be to Amarillo-Panhandle Humane Society
Adoption Service, 3501 S. Osage St., Amarillo, TX 79109; or a favorite
charity.

A celebration of her life will be at 12:30 p.m. today at the Wood home in
Amarillo.
