LOYD FRANCIS McCULLAR, born December 16, 1940 to David Gay and Willie Mae
McCULLAR in McAllister, Oklahoma, passed away June 7, 2008 in Houston,
Texas. Mr. McCullar is preceded in death by his parents and his brother,
David G. McCullar. He is survived by his ex-wife and mother of his children,
Teresa Ferro and her husband, Ramon; son, Kevin McCULLAR and wife, Jane;
daughter, Karen Olinde and husband, Lance; grandchildren, Brandon, Sara,
Carson, Katherine, and Madeline; sisters, Audrey McCullough of Whittier,
California, Dorothy Walston of Corsicana, Texas, Opal Denton of Vernon,
Texas, Flora Jean Row of Oklahoma City, Laura Pullum of McAllister,
Oklahoma, Betty Juranek of Fairfield, Nebraska; brother, Curtis McCULLAR of
Sugar Land, Texas; several nieces and nephews and numerous other family. Mr.
McCullar served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy from 1961- 1965. Loyd
was a hardworking man whose integrity and generosity will live in our hearts
forever. The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14,
2008 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home, where a memorial service will
begin at 3:00 p.m.
