Clara Alvina Stroh, 91, of Greeley died Wednesday, July 7, at North Colorado
Medical Center, Greeley.
She was born Dec. 1, 1912, in Evans to Jacob and Charlot (Miller) Miller.
She attended schools in Kersey.
On Nov. 10, 1930, she married Reuben Stroh in Greeley. He is deceased.
Mrs. Stroh was a homemaker and also farmed with her husband for 51 years.
She was a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church in Greeley. Her hobbies
were crocheting, needlework, sewing and fishing. She enjoyed her children
and grandchildren.
Survivors are a daughter, Irene Eldridge, and a son, Lester A. Stroh, both
of Greeley; six sisters, Esther Meisner, Mary White and husband Bill, Ella
Peppler and Helen Rothe, all of Greeley, Bernice Miller and husband Shorty
of Thornton, and Leona Gibbs and husband Ed of Ashland City, Tenn; two
brothers, Jake Miller Jr. and wife Shirley, and Lee Miller and wife Norma,
all of Gill; four grandchildren, Tim Schissler of Virginia, Terry Kahl of
Fort Collins, Duane Schissler of Greeley and Susan Reinick of Riverton,
Wyo.; seven great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Her parents, a sister, Frieda Heberline, and a brother, Conrad Miller, are
deceased.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment will
be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Greeley.
Friends may visit from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be made to St. Paul's Congregational Church in care of
Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 28th St., Greeley COO 80634.
