Surnames: Eppright
Tom Eppright, age 76, of Austin, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2004. As a
World War II and Korean War Veteran, he retired from the United States Air
Force and Civil Service. Henry attended Southwest Texas State University,
later becoming an instructor in the Culinary Arts Department at Camp Gary.
Henry was a faithful member of the St. Elmo Baptist Church where he served
with the Brotherhood. He loved and cherished his family and friends. He was
a generous and compassionate man, willing to give to anyone in need. He was
an avid fisherman and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His
father, Ernest Eppright; mother, Mary Eppright; one brother, Ernest Lee
Eppright; one sister, Gertrude Eppright Brooks, all preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish precious memories his devoted and loving wife of 51
years, Elizabeth; son, Ernest Eppright of San Antonio; daughter, Brenda
Evans and husband, Ralph of Dayton, Ohio; two grandchildren, Paul Eppright
of San Antonio and Keidra Evans of Dayton, Ohio; two great-grandchildren,
Crystal and Paul Eppright Jr.; niece, Michelle Brooks; nephew, Stanley
Collins; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be
held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2938
E. 13th Street with Pastor Lofton Levels officiating. Interment will follow
at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
