Biography

Quetta Faye McDermott, 72, Neosho, MO died at 4:34 pm, Saturday, June 16,
2007 at her home, following a long illness. Quetta was born Oct. 9, 1934 in
Granby, MO and was a lifelong area resident. She worked in the family
business, McDermott Construction in addition to being a homemaker. She was a
member of Sweetwater Baptist Church and was devoted to her family who were
her pride and joy. Quetta married Ron McDermott on April 11, 1950 in Granby
and he survives. Additional survivors include six children, Bruce McDermott
and wife, Billie; Rex McDermott and wife, Tammy; Geneva Hadley and husband,
Gary, all of Granby; Cheryl McDermott and Mike Barkfelt, Langley, OK; Shad
Strong and wife, Viviana, Wyandotte, OK and Shelli Woodall and husband,
Calvin, Afton, OK; one sister, Patsy Burress, Bentonville, AR; eight
grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by
a son, Scotty McDermott; two sisters, Ruth Camerer and Velda Woodcock and
two brothers, Bill Green and LeRoy Green. Services will be Wed., June 20,
2007 at 10:00 am at the Sweetwater Baptist Church, Brother Tom Casady, II
will officiate. Burial will be in the Fidelity Cemetery, north of Diamond
and serving as pallbearers will be Greg McDermott, Shane McDermott, Shad
Strong, Bryce McDermott, Justin Kimbrough, Steven Hadley, Kevin Green, Rusty
McDermott, Calvin Woodall, Tyler McDermott and Bryn McDermott.
Church Service

Wednesday. June 20, 2007 , 10:00 am at Sweetwater Baptist Church


Burial will be at Fidelity Cemetery, just north of Diamond Missouri
