Marian Morgan Barrera, age 43, of Georgetown, Texas, died on Monday,
February 16, 2004. She was born on September 9, 1960, and was the middle
daughter of Ann K. ``Kay' Morgan, and the late Earl E. ``Ed' Morgan. Marian
graduated in 1978 from Midway High School, in Waco, Texas, and attended
McLennan Community College. Her favorite times were those spent with her
family, especially her new grandson, Damien. Marian had a generous heart and
was known as ``Moms' by her many ``adopted' children. She enjoyed her work,
playing with her dogs and she loved to cook. Marian had a wonderful sense of
humor and was loved by her family dearly. She will truly be missed and
remembered with fondness by all those who loved her. Marian is survived by
her husband, Barnabe Barrera; son, Joshua Moore; daughter-in-law, Kasee
Moore; grandson, Damien Moore; mother, Kay Morgan; sister, Julia Halbert;
brother-in-law, Bobby Halbert; nephew, Jason Halbert; sister, Susan Morgan;
nephew, Kyle Morgan; and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral
services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, February 19, 2004, at the
Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.
Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery. For those
desiring, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Kidney
Foundation.
