(07/18/2003) Juan Jiminez, age 59, of Jarrell, Texas, died Wednesday, July
16, 2003 in Jarrell. He was born June 24, 1944, in Temple, Texas, to Juan
and Guadalupe Ybarra Jiminez. He married Connie Flores on June 23, 1984, in
Round Rock. Juan served in the United States Marine Corp. during the Vietnam
war, and was currently employed by the Starwood Hotels and Resorts in Austin
as a Reservation Specialist. He is survived by his wife, Connie Jiminez of
Jarrell; one son, Juan Jiminez of USMC Camp Lejuene, N.C.; two daughters,
Laura and Rosa Jiminez of Georgetown; two brothers; one sister; 24 nieces;
23 nephews; one grandson, Angel Juan Jiminez; one granddaughter, Alyssa Rose
Lopez; six brothers-in-law; and eight sisters-in-law. Preceding him in death
were his parents; and two brothers. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday,
July 18, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Corn
Hill with Monsignor Arthur Michalka and Father Rick Aguilar officiating.
Burial will follow at the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery with full military
honors. A special thank you goes out to Dr. Valerian Chuyle, Dr. Jerry Fain,
Dr. Kenneth Ellis, Dr. James Crout, and to Rebecca Umaker, nurse at Austin
