Salt Springs - Gloria M. McNeely, 74, of Salt Springs, passed away Sunday,
June 1, 2008. Gloria had been a resident of Salt Springs for the past 28
years coming from Jacksonville. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the
Salt Springs Christian Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post #
10208, Salt Springs in which she was very active. Gloria loved spending time
with her family and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband,
John Silas McNeely. Surviving are two sons, John S. McNeely, Jr. (Verdine)
and Kenneth McNeely (Beth); one daughter, Wanda Polatty and husband, Chuck
Radloff; companion, W. D. Thompson; sister, Georgene Bowen; five grand
children, and several great grandchildren. Memorial services will be 3:00
p.m. Saturday June 7, 2008 at the Salt Springs Christian Church with Rev.
Walter Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to
the American Heart Association, 210 NW 75th Dr., Suite 1, Gainesville, FL
322607. MASTERS FUNERAL HOME of Palatka is in charge of arrangements.
