Mavis Marie Malburg

(08/01/2003) Mavis Marie Malburg, 88, of Austin, passed away on Wednesday,
July 30, 2003. She was born December 31, 1914, in Robinson, Texas to Oscar
and Catherine Thames. Mavis enjoyed crafts, bingo and her grandchildren. She
had a great sense of humor, and never met a stranger. Mavis is survived by
her sister and best friend, Jewell Thames; daughters, Catherine Thielepape,
Yvonne Lineberger and Barbara Haddock; grandchildren, Robin Lineberger, Jeff
Lineberger, Stacy Lineberger, Jacqueline Mauldin, Stephanie Ramsey,
Gabrielle Thielepape, Sam Thielepape III, Chad Haddock and Amy Park; also
survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Mavis
was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Clinton Cantwell. The funeral
service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2003, with the viewing
to start at 12:00 p.m., in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks
Funeral Home. The interment will follow in the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks
Cemetery.
