Subject: [WORLD WAR II] WW2 Military service records

Hi Listers,

I am new to this list & would like to know how to go about finding out about
a person's military service in WW2. I'm not really sure where to start. His
name was Francis Edward Brookes (my grandfather) & was in the South
Staffordshire Regiment.

Any help & advice gratefully received

Thanks

Kerry Wood
