I have 'nt seen any messages from WW2 today. Its a mystery.

I enjoyed your web site and left a message. I did one for my dad who served
on the destroyer HMS Campbell in WW2.

The photo was sent to me by an old ship mate of his from Campbell who is
now 83 years old.


My cousin, Able Seaman. Gus HOLLAND was killed 3 weeks before the war ended
when his Motor Torpedo Boat, HMMTB 494 was rammed and sank by German
E-Boats in the North Sea. Gus was only 23 yrs old and married with a baby
daughter when he was killed.

BTW. My daughter Wendy lives in Nelson on the South Island.
