I came across some papers that my mother kept when she was searching for her Wren family(like me)25 yrs ago, supplied by a professional genealogist she'd hired. I've had to abbreviate the family tree - full version avail by email to those interested.

Probate Records:
Thomas WRENN who had a certificate from John Heard, Mayor of Bideford, and, as an adventurer for land, had a south west quarter for farming at Kenry, county Limerick in Ireland 25th March 1659. He served as a captain in Colonel Ingoldsby's Regiment and was pardoned in letters patent granted at Whitehall 25th April 1661 as Captain Thomas Wren of Golmoylestown, county Meath, where a probate following his death was issued in 1662. He had by his wife Mary, eldest daughter of John Blennerhassett of Ballyseedy, county Kerry in Ireland, with others, a son.
Charles WREN of Littur, county Kerry (will dated 20th October,1725) who had, with others, by his wife Ellen, daughter of Thomas Blennerhassett of Littur, a son.
John WREN of Littur (will dated 29th July and proved 12th September 1769) who had, with daughters, by his wife Honora, daughter of Thomas Ponsonby, an only son.
Thomas WREN of Littur (will dated 14th February, proved 2nd March 1792) married at St.Munchin's, county Limerick Alice, daughter of Robert Leslie of the city of Limerick, by whom he had, with others, a son.
Leslie WREN of Abbeyfaihl, county Kerry, who had, by his wife Mary, daughter of Patrick Maurice (died 29th August 1806) an only child.
Maurice WREN, farmer of Abbeyfaihl, who married Mary, daughter of Jo"n Collins of Cork, and, dying in 1853, had with other issue which included Patrick WREN, Right Reverend Provost of Salford, and an eldest son.
Maurice WREN, who, marrying Mary, daughter of Wilfred Tavlor of Oldham, came to settle at Goole near Liverpool in England and had by her issue with others, a son.
